A. Weddings/Receptions-Dinner Parties-Job Related Functions-Political Parties-Birthday/Xmas Parties-Graduations/Promotion parties-Dance Hall Events!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Can The DJ do the job right? Checkout his/her equipment and music.....DJs have pics of their equipment....Is the DJ experienced!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Take Music Appreciation, Disc Jockey and Speech Courses, Collect a varity of Music Hits & Professional DJ equipment and Learn how to DJ and perform like the recording artist(s) and their Band in front of awaiting audience.....
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Cost expendures for a DJ function is not cheap...If you desire a Pro DJ, one has to pay well....Or one could just turn on the Radio!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
1. I have the latest dj equipment and lighting for any party, event or function...
2. I have the hit songs from all eras [You name it-I got it!]
3. My speciality is Dance Music from most music eras...
4. I can travel up to 50 miles to DJ your party-function-event
5. I can setup my PA system for any speaking function
6. I do Disco-HipHop-Children-Xmas songs for schools events too!
7. I also do Christian Event, Dining Parties, Wedding Receptions and Marriage Celemonies...
Q.Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I use to collect and buy 33 1/3 albums at a Thrift Store, years ago...So much that the owner ask me, if I wanted to buy ALL of his albums for $150.00.....I did! He Loaded 26 Huge Boxes with over 26,000 albums......I pick out the ones I liked and gave the rest of them to The Brooklyn Library....
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I always love all types of music.....It took many years to acquire my collection of All Eras Music because everybody loves and wants to hear THEIR music.....And I wanted give it to them! It's all about Music Appreciation!
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I had over 12,000 Albums....I loved hearing them.....I took music & speech couses at NYC City College...Then I got DJ equipment and solicit my service through advertisement in The Yellow Pages and local papers (In The 1980s & 90s) to do parties/functions and/or events.....Now I have many many CDs that replaces those albums and I have The Internet.....
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. The cost of my DJ services for pricing consist of traveling expenses, vehicle rental and fuel, hiring help to carry heavy DJ equipment, selecting requested songs/hits and recording preparation for the party, function or event constant replenishing music hits, dress attire rental[if needed], the time spent at said function and continuing advertisement cost....
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. You can't do DJ work with a stereo system and a few songs/hits.....You need the right DJ equipment, DJ experience, good speech and a varity of music hits.....
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I have All Eras of Music from The Classics thru Today's Now Sound...BUT Dance Music Is My Greatest Strength.......
